High School Students Explore Technical Careers at Bevill State

Bessemer City High School students from the Modern Manufacturing and Ready to Work programs visited Bevill State Community College on Sept. 30 to explore the college's state-of-the-art Career Technical Education offerings.

The field trip provided students with valuable exposure to diverse and in-demand career pathways. Students were given comprehensive tours of multiple technical programs, allowing them to see potential careers in action.

The programs toured included:

·       Heavy Equipment

·       Modern Manufacturing

·       Automotive

·       Advanced Engineering Design Technology

·       Welding

·       Machine Tool Technology

Bessemer City High School highlighted the importance of such community partnerships. These collaborations provide students with essential exposure to real-world opportunities and help prepare them for success in technical fields after graduation.
