High School Seniors Attend College Fair for Career Prep
Bessemer City High School’s 12th-grade students recently took a significant step toward their post-graduation plans by attending a College Fair hosted at Lawson State Community College on Oct. 8. The event provided the seniors—referred to as "scholars" by the school—with an invaluable opportunity to network and connect directly with recruiters from a wide variety of colleges and universities. Students reported that they thoroughly enjoyed the experience, gathering information and exploring diverse academic options.
The school emphasized that this trip aligns with its core mission of ensuring all scholars are college and career ready, preparing them for success beyond the classroom environment. Bessemer City High School extended a special thank you to Mrs. Freeman, the 12th-grade counselor, for organizing the successful and beneficial outing.
