Bessemer City Scholars Spread Holiday Cheer at Joint Christmas Program

BESSEMER, Ala. — Student musicians from three local schools filled the air with festive melodies during a joint Christmas program held at Bessemer City High School.

The event featured collaborative performances by scholars from Bessemer City High School, Bessemer City Middle School, and Jonesboro Elementary School. The evening served as a showcase for the district’s Fine Arts Department, which worked to bring the magic of the season to the stage through a variety of holiday classics.

Attendees were treated to a diverse program that highlighted the progression of talent across the different grade levels. From the elementary students’ first forays into public performance to the more advanced arrangements presented by the high school ensembles, the event emphasized the community’s commitment to arts education.

“Our scholars showcased their talents beautifully,” organizers said, noting that the program was a successful effort to spread holiday cheer throughout the Bessemer City community.

The Fine Arts Department received high praise for its role in coordinating the logistics of the multi-school event and providing the musical foundation for the holiday celebration.
